At the Fredericksburg Country Club, the pinnacle of your dining experience is marked by exceptional food and service. The club prides itself on its Smithfield Bar & Grill and Rappahannock Room, both of which serve as ideal locales for family gatherings, offering a diverse menu to satisfy diverse tastes.

 

Embracing a contemporary culinary journey, the club's Food and Beverage program, led by our Executive Chef and his skilled team, features a spectrum of dining experiences. These range from casual to fine dining options, alongside exclusive private wine dinners with bespoke menus crafted by the chef. Patrons can also enjoy distinctive cocktails and a selection of rotating draft beers, including prominent craft beers from Fredericksburg and throughout Virginia.

 

The club's 30,400-square-foot Clubhouse encompasses three distinct dining areas, each offering outdoor deck dining. The recently updated 19th Hole dining room caters to families with big-screen TVs and a separate Sports Bar/dining room equipped with a large bar and multiple TVs for sports viewing. The Rappahannock Dining Room presents a prime setting for both casual luncheon meetings and sophisticated dinner gatherings. Dining hours are seasonal, and guests are encouraged to contact the club for the latest schedule.

 

Furthermore, the Clubhouse's lower level features the Great Room, available year-round for banquets for both members and guests. With three additional banquet spaces, including the spacious Ballroom and the charming Hunt & Mannsfield Rooms in the historic section of the Clubhouse, the Fredericksburg Country Club stands ready to host a variety of personal and business events, catering to both members and non-members alike.

The Rappahannock Room at the Fredericksburg Country Club provides an upscale casual dining experience and features a complete menu offering fresh fish and certified Angus beef as well as an extensive wine list.

Our newly renovated Smithfield Bar and Grill offers full-service dining for lunch and dinner in a casual atmosphere and large-screen TV viewing. Great for families and after-sports drinks and meals.

Meet our Executive Chef

Elliott Ferguson

Elliott joined the FCC team in the Winter of 2023. His culinary passion started at a young age with the memories of cooking with his father. He has 20 years of experience in various kitchen atmospheres between Bravo, Cucina Italiana, and The Cheesecake Factory. Elliott's mentors have guided him which led to becoming the Executive Sou Chef in both restaurants.

 

Elliott’s food influences weigh heavy in Italian, French, and Mediterranean style cuisine. He has also traveled with volunteer work to South American countries and has been able to indulge in the food and culture which shines through his dishes here at the club. Elliott takes pride in the flavor profiles and presentation of his creations. He continues to push the limits and loves serving FCC members with great quality and delicious food.

Elliott is a local here in Fredericksburg, where he is raising his two girls, Hazel and Lillian, with his fiancée Kayla. When he isn’t at work you can still find him in the kitchen making new delicious food for his family and friends or playing guitar.
