| Jerome DodsonGolf Course Superintendent|
Jerome joined the TEAM at Fredericksburg Country Club in 2020. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1988 with degrees in Turfgrass Management and Horticulture. He started playing golf in 1979 and his love of the game grew into a passion for the golf course and turfgrass, and presentation of the golf facility. Jerome’s professional experience not only includes maintenance operations, but also construction and grow-in. While he spent most of his career in the Mid-Atlantic transition zone, his resume includes golf courses from Maine to Louisiana.
During 1999 to 2005, Jerome was involved in his most beloved projects to date—building both The First Tee Chesterfield and The First Tee Richmond facilities. His work on these ventures with The First Tee of Greater Richmond organization earned him the Distinguished Service Award, presented by Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association, in 2000.
Jerome and his wife, Kristi, look forward to their time in Fredericksburg and being part of the Fredericksburg Country Club family.
