Golf ProgrammingThe Club's PGA Golf Professional administrates programs for ladies, men, seniors, juniors and couples in order for our members and guests to make the most of Fredericksburg Country Club’s golf amenities. Lessons are available for all members regardless of skill level and can take place on either the practice areas or the golf course. All members are also invited and encouraged to participate in casual rounds with Tim during the weekly open play gatherings, held on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Golf Performance Training
Do you want to hit the ball farther and more consistently? Have less pain and decrease your risk of injury? Have more fun playing golf? Then take advantage of the area’s leading golf performance program offered by Chrissy Griffiths. Chrissy is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington, Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI Level 3 Golf Fitness), and also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with years of success in training golfers of all ages and fitness levels. Her golf specific assessments enable the development of customized programs that yield exciting results in a short period of time!

FREDERICKSBURG COUNTRY CLUB LADIES WIN CHAMPIONSHIP
The Ladies League of Virginia, a golf league made up of ten area clubs, recently concluded its 29th season. Finishing in the top spot with 280 points was Fredericksburg Country Club, winning their 10th title in the last 17 years. It is a four-ball match play format with 3 teams of partners from all ten clubs competing at a different host club. Points are accumulated in the match, playing for a point on each hole. Members of the FCC team include Grace Anne Braxton, Nancy Butzner, Deb Collins, Carolyn Creamer, Roberta Karch, Becky Paul, Nancy Rosner, Pat Snyder, Debra Steckler and Paula Williams. Second place finisher with 262 points was Fawn Lake, Greene Hills was third, and Lee’s Hill and Culpeper tied for fourth. Congratulations FCC, well done!

Private lessons will be given by PGA Head Golf Professional Tim Wagner. Lessons will be catered to every player’s needs and abilities in addition to using the latest video technology to enhance your experience.

ADULT GOLF PROGRAMS
LADIES ON-COURSE CLINICS (ALL SKILL LEVELS)
Jump start the season with a great laid-back atmosphere and golf! For four weeks in April and May on every Wednesday at 11AM, Tim Wagner will give a clinic and then follow along giving tips while the group plays golf. This will be a great way to meet new people and get more comfortable on the golf course.
ADULT GOLF SCHOOL
This program is catered to adults and offers a variety of ways to learn through technology, games and on-course experiences all in a group atmosphere. Each two-day school will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday of the same week from 4-5:30pm. (Note: if a group would like to customize time and day please call Tim to schedule). The class will be limited to 5 participants. Grab a friend or sign up as a single and get ready to have some fun!
JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS
BURGER NIGHT GOLF CLINICS
This spring take advantage of golf clinics and drop the youngsters off while you go to FCC's popular burger nights! From 6-7PM on Wednesday and Friday evenings, golf clinics will be held for juniors 6-17 years old; participants will be paired with like age groups upon arrival. Each week we will cover different topics and most importantly get on the course and ready for the season! The clinics will be led by Head Golf Professional Tim Wagner.
U.S. KIDS GOLF CAMP
This camp is for players of all skill levels. The juniors will be broken down into age groups and be introduced to the U.S. Kids Golf curriculum. We will focus on variable learning with games, teamwork and most importantly on-course experience. The students will be given a booklet with an achievement checklist and encouraged to complete it with the parent. Each camp will be limited to 12 juniors. A sample Tuesday-Friday schedule follows:

PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE – PGAJLG.COM
Summer League and Fall League Available
FCC team is open to member boys & girls age 13 and under. The purpose of the league is to LEARN how to play the game on the course and teach valuable life lessons. Beginners are welcome and encouraged! We will have a structured practice/clinic schedule leading up to the league to get everyone comfortable. FCC will play other local teams from area golf courses. Our team will play four matches which are scheduled to begin in early June. Before the matches start, the team will have three practice matches. Following the start of the season, practice sessions will be held during each week of scheduled matches. Parent volunteers are encouraged to help with scoring and other duties.
CUSTOM JUNIOR GOLF CLINICS
Customized one-hour Junior Golf Clinics can be designed and scheduled for Juniors in a group of three to six participants. Instruction will cover the appropriate needs of the participants such as course management, rules, etiquette and swing fundamentals. The students participating in the group should be similar in age and ability in order to maximize the benefits of this program. Each clinic is for a 60-minute duration.
